Cute Little Tiki Beach

by - September 01, 2018

While I was in Turkey I tried to really enjoy the local foods, the beaches, the activities and I spent real time doing what I love. Turkey is by far my favorite place I have travelled to so far, each time I have stayed between Marmaris and Icmeler. Meaning I have avoided being stuck in the louder, busier parts of the coastline. I could walk to either town, or catch a little bus that only charged about 3 Liras per person - Crazy! I didn't really want to catch buses, instead I wanted to walk to the towns following the coastline and getting to see the local bars and private beaches... I did however burn my head pretty bad! I was wearing factor 50 suncream, however with my hair and skin being so light I guess the sun just went straight through my hair within the first day... The pain!

I had walked past a particular private beach one day, we went in to have a look around and there was heaps of fresh fruit just waiting to create you the freshest smoothies and cocktails, there rows and rows of sunbeds, bean bags and four posted sunbeds with chiffon curtains flowing in the wind. The paths were perfectly swept to perfection, leading from the bar up past the dreamy sunbeds with no sandy footprints left behind.

There was this bamboo tipi with a gorgeous set up with big cushions on the floor, little coffee tables, gas lamps and shisha pipes. The perfect location to chill out and take some photos ♥

Can you believe I had to get up at about 5am to take these photos in the sunrise?!

We returned to Icon Beach in the evening to relax out of the way of the disco at our hotel, which did have nights we enjoyed but quite frankly; after a certain time the music was so loud it could get too much for me at times.

Dress: Newlook

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
